Fact Front — Mobile Application
This Privacy Policy describes how the Fact Front mobile application ("App", "we", "our", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our service. By installing or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
When you first launch the App, a random anonymous identifier (UUID) is generated and stored on your device. This identifier is used to associate your gameplay data with your device. It is not linked to your real identity, email, phone number, or any account on other services.
We do not collect your real name, email address, phone number, date of birth, location, photos, contacts, or any other personal identification information.
To provide game features, leaderboards, and statistics, we collect:

Your settings, device ID, and game session state are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data is deleted when you uninstall the App.
Your gameplay data (answers, scores, leaderboard entries) and profile (nickname, avatar emoji, push token) are stored on our server in a PostgreSQL database. Data is transmitted over HTTPS.
The App uses anonymous, device-based identification. There is no registration, login, or password. If you uninstall and reinstall the App, a new identifier is generated and your previous data becomes inaccessible.

The App displays advertisements (banner, interstitial, and rewarded video) through the Unity LevelPlay mediation platform. The platform automatically selects the best ad network for each impression from the connected networks — Unity Ads and Yandex Mobile Ads — based on availability and performance.
On iOS, we request your consent via the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework before accessing your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) for personalized ads. If you decline, ads will still be shown but they will not be personalized.
On Android, the Google Advertising ID (GAID) may be used for ad personalization. You can reset or opt out of ad personalization through your device's settings (Settings → Google → Ads).
Interstitial ads are shown based on gameplay activity — approximately once every several dozen facts viewed. There is no fixed daily cap on the number of ad impressions. The first game each day is always free of interstitial ads.
You can temporarily disable all ads by watching a rewarded sponsor video. After watching, ads are disabled for a set period of time (duration is configurable and may vary).
We do not sell your personal data. Information may be shared only in the following cases:
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under the GDPR, including the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability. The legal basis for processing is legitimate interest (providing game functionality) and your consent (for advertising and analytics). Contact us to exercise these rights.
If you are a resident of the Russian Federation, your personal data is processed in accordance with Federal Law No. 152-FZ "On Personal Data". For users from other CIS countries, the applicable national legislation applies. Contact us to exercise your rights.
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.
Your data may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries that may have different data protection laws than your country.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
